This is the mini project that we did as a team of six, as partial fulfillment of the assessment work. Its basically simulation of the infusion pump. We designed, documented and developed it in QNX over ARM 9 platform. We made sure to stick to posix standards to make it portable to other posix supporting operating systems. The highlight of the design is, the GUI part is a separate process which when crashed or it crashes expectantly, will not affect the infusion process, one pending work was self healing, ie restarting the gui if it crashes — We were pressed hard for time to complete this. Source code will be released in my blog, anybody who needs it can take it and use it… “Human knowledge belongs to the world”.
